ESP2024 - Round 3 - Stream 4 - Fees and Charges (development approvals)

Council has established the Economic Stimulus Policy (the program) to provide the community, building owners and developers with the opportunity to apply for an incentive. It reflects the intent of the Central Highlands Regional Council (council) Corporate Plan 2022-2027 to support regional industry development via advocacy, planning and incentives and protect and promote the heritage of our region.

This grant round will consider applications that meet the assessment and eligibility criteria outlined in the policy for Stream 4. 

Applicants requesting pre lodgement advice under Section 9 of the Policy should contact the Strategic Land Use team to arrange an appointment.  

The intent of this stream is to encourage development that is significant to the community to occur within a shortened timeframe, assist new businesses to establish by reducing the up-front costs and provide some certainty to those proposing to invest in the region.
